We support recruitment activities for a Silicon Valley startup focusing on building next-generation AI technology for the talent acquisition industry. 


Salary: up to 17 000 PLN
Employment type: employment contract ("umowa o pracę") or B2B contract; full-time
Location: Wadowicka Street, Cracow

Working remotely: ad-hoc

 

We are looking for a talented Data Engineer with Python to join the international team of professionals. Part of the client's business includes the sourcing, placement, and management of ‘point resources’ – i.e. subject matter experts to work at the client-side affecting change from the inside. The team is a pretty small and close-knit and is building a new Type-2 Dimensionalised DWH to enable analyze usage of the private and public cloud.


Requirements

  • Minimum 3-year work experience in Python Development
  • Solid hands-on experience designing and implementing ER models, star schemas, dimensional modeling, and other data modeling techniques and methodologies
  • Proficient with large scale, distributed systems, data platform technologies, ETL/ELT and data ingestion protocols (ODBC, API, Web Scrapping, etc). Snowflake experience would be beneficial
  • Experience with the cloud environment will be beneficial (AWS preferred)
  • Proven experience with DevOps and Microservices, especially with configuring, deploying and maintaining private and public cloud container workloads
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in delivering solutions using Agile and iterative methodologies, working as part of a team with local and remote members
