JavaScript Developer

Job description

We're looking for a JavaScript Developer for a Scandinavian digital agency offering extensive expertise in digital communication, from strategic consulting, concept development, design, system development and management of the solutions tailor-made for their customers.

As a JavaScript Developer, you will work on various projects with developing new user-facing features. You will ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with business, UX, and technology teammates in a scrum environment.

Recruitment process: At least 2 online meetings (around 2h);

Responsibilities:

  • Developing web applications for external clients  of multiple industries,
  • Suggesting changes and new features,
  • Applying design patterns in every day's work,
  • Building public Internet-facing web applications,
  • Taking responsibility both for maintenance tasks and the development of new features,

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of modern JavaScript and HTML/CSS
  • Practical experience with responsive/mobile web development
  • Experience working with JavaScript frameworks (e.g. React/Angular)
  • Understanding of modern front-end tools (e.g. Webpack/Redux/SystemJS)
  • Familiarity with Git and team collaboration tools e.g. Github/Gitlab/JIRA,
  • Ability to communicate in English on a daily basis
  • Understanding of full-stack web development
