Our client is an award-winning global company offering currency solutions and providing Internet-based forex trading and currency information services to everyone, from individuals to large corporations. As one of first on the market, they have launched a trading platform that helped pioneer the development of online-based trading around the world, enabling forex and CFD investors the ability to trade the financial markets.

Employment type: employment contract ("umowa o pracę")

Salary: up to 19 000 PLN gross

Recruitment process: 1x technical screening (0.5h), 1x technical interview (1.5h), 1x HR interview (0.5h)


As MOTIFE, we are helping our client to build a new R&D team in Cracow. We’re looking for someone with a keen interest in transforming data into usable insights to lead the development of the client's product. You’ll be tasked with building an engineering team to create new tools and visualizations while maintaining and scaling out existing popular services.


You will: 

  • Work closely with the product manager to ideate and prototype new concepts to include in the product
  • Focus on delivery and ensuring top-priority projects are completed on-time and of the highest quality
  • Ensure high product quality through code reviews and automated tests to increase confidence in releases
  • Be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the health of trading services running in production (incidents, bugs, performance, etc)
  • Inspire, guide, mentor a talented and eager team of engineers to ensure they grow and excel in their role


    Requirements

    We’re looking for candidates with:
    • 5+ years of post-graduate working experience in a software engineering role
    • Previous experience in a team lead/dev lead role
    • Experience with Java, Spring Boot, ReactJS, D3.js, and cloud-based deployment
    • Solid knowledge of software engineering best practices and design patterns
    • Experience with continuous integration and delivery pipelines
    • Thirst for knowledge, hunger to learn, and willingness to take on new challenges
    • Positive attitude, desire to collaborate, and the ability to communicate effectively with others
    • Highly organized, with good written and oral communication skills in English
