Job description

Company: We support recruitment for US-based provider of SaaS technology to the maritime industry. Their mission is to connect the global shipping industry and to facilitate the sharing of information in an efficient and productive way. I'm looking for QA Analyst who will work closely with the team of developers and product managers to ensure the successful deployment of applications for our customers. You will participate in regular regression testing aligned with our release cycles and develop the testing plans for new functionality. Any defects found within the application are then reported to the developer and product manager to be corrected and subsequently re-evaluated. You will provide guidance to the teams to improve quality focus during the development of functionality. This is a small team where you can thrive and contribute to further improvement of internal processes.

Location: 100% remotely - forever

Recruitment process: 2-step, online process. It is going to take around 2.5 hours in total


Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the developed software does not have any technical flaws and meets the requirements of the specifications provided  
  • Defining and documenting test cases 
  • Running manual and automation tests - with more focus on automation
  • Identifying areas for improvement and automating processes
  • Recording and communicating issues to the development team and other departments 
  • Performing smoke, functional, regression and user acceptance testing
  • Coordinate effectively with U.S. and Poland based operations - the QA Lead is based in the US as well as the majority of the Developers' team.

Requirements

  • Experience in automation test cases using Selenium or Cypress
  • Experience with running manual test cases 
  • Ability to review success criteria
  • Familiarity with programming languages like Python or C#
  • Experience with different products for project management (we use monday.com)
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps is desired
