Job description

Our client is an award-winning global player offering leading currency solutions for both retail and corporate organizations, from a tech start-up to global corporations. Founded in 1996, the company became first to share exchange rate information on the internet free of charge and in 2001, they have launched a trading platform that helped pioneer the development of online-based trading around the world, enabling forex and CFD investors the ability to trade the financial markets.


We are happy to assist them in opening a brand new center in Krakow located around Podgorska Street and to help them find their first hires for the Marketing team.  We are offering an employment contract with a salary of up to 10 000 PLN gross.  

The designer will work across all Marketing and Social functions. The role is best suited to individuals who are proficient in communicating concepts in a wide range of digital media ranging from video, illustration and user interfaces. The candidate will be part of a small, fast-paced team collaborating with Engineering, Design and Content teams in multiple countries.


Responsibilities:

Reporting the Senior UI/UX Designer, the Web Designer is responsible for working on evolving the client's brand identity, creating production-grade digital assets and producing pixel-perfect wireframes that adhere strictly to the design system.

  • Designing the website graphics, landing pages and social media posts 
  • Creating the company's presentation documents e.g. infographics, press releases, and Powerpoint presentations
  • Assisting the Senior UI/UX designer on any tasks related to larger strategic projects e.g preparing design files for build or slicing and optimizing images for the web


    Requirements

    • Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Web/Digital Designer
    • Experience with Figma AND/OR Sketch, cloud-based workflows, G Suite and MS Office (PowerPoint)
    • Hands-on practice with Adobe products (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
    • Familiarity with e-commerce
    • Understanding of design systems and UX design principles 
    • Fluency in English


    Nice to have:

    • Experience in content management publishing and email design experience
    • Previous experience in financial companies, especially in the trading area
    • Video editing experience
